The Full Story
“I didn’t set out to build a business. I just wanted to help my mom.”
At 14 years old, I started making whipped shea butter in my kitchen to soothe my mother’s lupus-related skin issues. What began as a deeply personal act of love became the spark behind Coarse Culture—a wellness brand committed to nourishing skin, telling stories, and shifting culture.
But I didn’t stop there.
While attending Miami University, I kept building. After graduating, I made a bold decision most founders don’t: I moved my company onto campus. Coarse Culture now operates from the heart of the university and serves as a real-life learning lab for students across disciplines—from marketing to manufacturing.

MY MISSION
To lead with compassion.
To show the next generation that rest, strategy, and impact can coexist.
I’m the full-time founder of Coarse Culture, a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree Chicago, and a speaker who’s passionate about helping entrepreneurs and students become the person their business needs.

Through keynotes, workshops, and campus tours, I’ve inspired hundreds of students and creators to lead with love, scale with strategy, and own their unique story.
